On May 8, 2013, the Internal Medicine Residency Program was pleased to welcome Visiting Professor Salvatore Mangione, MD (pictured here with members of the IMRP. Dr. Mangione followed up his Grand Rounds – “ A Tale of Two Brains”, based on his seminal work on medicine and the humanities – with a workshop on physical diagnosis of endocrine disorders. An Associate Professor of Medicine at Jefferson Medical College, Dr. Mangione is the author of Secrets in Physical Diagnosis which has been translated into six languages.
